Technicians and Assistants
Amy Myatt, LVMT
Amy has been with AAVH since 2012 after graduating from Columbia State Veterinary Technician Program and receiving her Associates Degree in Applied Animal Science. In addition to being a full-time licensed veterinary medical technician, she is also a full-time Mom to an energetic beautiful daughter named Katlyn, 2 very lovable dogs, Honey and Dale, and her cat, Piper. While Amy's spare time is extremely limited she does make time to go hunting, read books, and to spend time with her family and friends.
Jodie Spencer, LVMT
Jodie is a licensed veterinary medical technician that joined the AAVH family in 2014. She worked at the Dickson County Humane Society for over 7 years before starting at AAVH. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, horseback riding, riding four-wheelers, and hunting. Jodie's favorite pastime is working her dogs while coon hunting with her husband. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but especially cattle work and new pet exams so she can get our newest patients off to the right start.
Michelle Correll
Michelle worked with us from 2008-2013 then came back because she missed us so much in 2020. Michelle enjoys spending her free time with her husband, daughter, her cats, and her adorable Pitbulls, Layla and Titan. In her spare time Michelle enjoys horseback riding, traveling and going to concerts. She is an old soul and can put anyone I know to shame naming members, songs, and albums from the great Classic Rock bands. We are glad Michelle found her way back to us and are looking forward to many, many more years with her in the AAVH/WBAC family.
Haley Capps
Haley came to the AAVH/WBAC family in 2021. Haley works at both of our practices and hits the ground running everyday. Haley is a Veterinary Assistant, but you can can find Haley up front helping the recetionist, or sometimes helping our kennel staff. Haley likes to stay busy! Her favorite thing about working at AAVH/WBAC is hanging out with a goofy giant breed dog.
Cheyanne Hinson, LVMT
Cheyanne is a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician that graduated with her Associates of Animal Science in Veterinary Technology from Columbia State in 2022. She has a love for all aspects of veterinary medicine. Every pet she meets gets a smooch on the head (regardless of species)! Cheyanne has a zoo at home currenly consisting of her dog and best friend, Oakley, Everett the rabbit, Spyro the bearded dragon, and Ralph the sugar glider. When Cheyanne is not working she can be found on mission trips or immersed in a good book.
